Mission Statement

We recognize that adoption is a life-long process and that a unified voice is a strong voice.  We advocate for truth and honesty on behalf of all members of the adoption triad.   We pursue personal empowerment, community awareness and social change through support, education and the promotion of openness in adoption practices, policies and law.

Our staff, some of whom are ISC certified search consultants, volunteer their time and contribute years of combined experience.  They frequently attend workshops, seminars and local and national conferences to keep current on issues and techniques, and to network with others involved in search.  Search-Finders' members should expect to take an active role in their search.
