Search-Finders of Idaho, Inc. was founded in 1987 as a non-profit search and support group for adult adoptees, birth parents, adoptive parents, and others searching for relatives. Our motto is "Identity is Important." We strongly advocate the opening of sealed adoption records to adult triad members. As a member of the American Adoption Congress, we work in cooperation with other groups which have similar goals and objectives We promote openness and honesty, and encourage those qualities in adoption.
